Plugin service terms

OpenAPI Repair is provided by Masashi Nakadaira, an individual publisher.

Free, limited diagnostic tool

OpenAPI Repair checks selected AWS API Gateway REST compatibility issues in OpenAPI 3.0.0–3.0.4 JSON or YAML. The initial release is free, with no in-plugin purchases, paid plan, payment processing, or checkout.

The planned directory release covers all countries supported by the directory. Current access remains a private trial.

Review before using a candidate

  1. Choose the definition to send and diagnose it first
  2. Choose a supported repair and inspect its preview, changes, and remaining findings
  3. Approve the exact preview before exporting the candidate
  4. Keep your original, review the full output, and test it before use

The available repair copies inherited root security to eligible operations while preserving explicit operation overrides. The service does not connect to AWS, import or deploy APIs, create authorizers, convert OpenAPI versions, or fetch external references.

Technical limits

The MCP subset accepts at most 64 KiB UTF-8, 5,000 values, 128 UTF-8 bytes per key, and 512 UTF-8 bytes per JSON Pointer. Additional parser and response limits apply. Malformed, unsupported, unsafe, oversized, or complex inputs and repairs may be rejected. Rejection does not establish that a definition is invalid in all environments.

Passing these limited checks does not guarantee AWS import success, complete validity, safety, or correct production authorization. Review the full output and verify it in your own non-production environment.

Definition processing

The plugin sends your definition to its processing server. The application does not keep a stored copy of the definition or log its body. Hosting-provider logs and international processing may still apply. Remove credentials, secrets, and unnecessary personal or customer information before submitting a definition. See the plugin privacy notice for details.
